This field research station is in Sarasota, Florida where there are vast amounts of marine life to study. One in particular is the seas turtle. I have 3 aquatic slider turtles of my own so this was particularly interesting to me. People who work and intern at this laboratory work to conserve the lives of these sea turtles and preserve their habitats.

The Redwood National Park |
This is a picture I took with my Nikon D80 last summer when in
The Redwoods. Most of my extended family lives in Oregon and I was born in California so these amazing trees have always been close to my heart.

Yosemite Falls |
The highest measured waterfall in North America in Yosemite National Park is the one shown above. It is of particular interest to me because Ansel Adams took most of his infamous photographs in this Park due to its vast landscape. I have never been there, but wish to someday; especially to visit this amazing geological water feature.

Teacup Pig |
The teacup pig is genetically engineered to stay little cute animals for your petting pleasure. I want one someday because they won't be as heavy as a pot-belly pig and do not shed.

Giant Squid |
I could not decide on just one animal due to need to share the giant squid. The giant squid is an amazing, yet frightful discovery. These deep-ocean dwelling creatures have been a fear yet a big interest of mine. Many Discovery specials have been made on giant squid, but still the only information/research we have on them is the deceased, or nearly deceased, placed in preserving liquid.
